Bakassi Chairman lauded for Appointing Frank Inyang As Media Aide
The Chairman of Bakassi Local Government Area ,Hon Iyadim Amboni Iyadim has been Commended for the appointment of Mr Frank Inyang, as his Chief Press Secretary.
In a statement signed by the Chairman and Head of Press Corps, Government House Press, Calabar, Alh.Rasheed Olanrewaju Zubair, expressed appreciation of the entire press Crew to the Chairman, for finding one of their own worthy to serve as the Chief Press Secretary at the council level.
The statement said, “with years of experience, Frank and his dynamism in the practice of pen profession as well as media managment, the appointee is a “square peg in a square hole”.
“Onbehalf of the entire Press Corps,I hereby express my deepest gratitude to the Chairman of Bakassi Local Government Area,Hon Iyadim Amboni Iyadim for this meritorous appointment of a thoroughbred professional,Frank Inyang (Abe) as his Chief Press Secretary.”
Adding that, “We are not surprise by this appointment due to the age long relationship that existed between the Press Corps of the Governor and Hon Iyadim Amboni Iyadim and the appointment will further cement this cordiality for better collaborations.”
While lauding the pragmatic leadership approach of the chair barely one month after assumption of office Rasheed said, “We wish the Chairman and his new appointees, especially Mr Frank Inyang a successful tenure as he continues to add value to the Chairman, Government and good People of Bakassi Local Government Area.”
Frank popularly known as “Abe” was the Chairman and Head of Press Corps , Government House Calàbar for Fourteen consecutive years under Donald Duke,Liyel Imoke and early days of Ayade’s Administration.
Until His Retirement in 2016 from active service,he was an Assistant Director,Information and responsible for writting of official Press Releases of the Governor.
Retired but still active in modern Day Journalism,Inyang a graduate of Mass Communications, has many publications to his credit in both local and International journals.
