Biase Council Boss to Facilitate Federal Government N-Power Initiative for her Youth
The Chairman of Biase Local Government Area, Hon. Ada C. Egwu will facilitate at least, Five Hundred and Fifty (550) Biase indigenes across the 11 wards of Biase to benefit from the Federal Government N-Power initiative with at least 50 prospective beneficiaries per ward, following the opening of its registration portal yesterday, 26th June 2020 at 11:45pm.
The N-power program is a Federal government empowerment initiative which offers youth between the ages of 18-35 an induction into the world of work and focuses on their acquisition of practical skills across the key sector of the economy.
The programme will facilitate the placement of beneficiaries with prequisite qualification and preferred programm (N-Agro, N-Health, N-Teach, N-Build, N-Tech, N-Creative) for a minimum of twenty four months with a corresponding stipend of 30,000 each month.
Princess Ada, in a statement called on all young people of Biase extraction to take advantage of her facilitative effort, which would be at NO FEE, is to ease the cost of processing the form online at internet cafe considering the difficult terrain of Biase and inaccessibility/poor network signals in most of our communities.
Eligible and interested persons are advice to contact their ward councillors and for further information.
They must also attach copies of the following documents, ID Card (Voters Card or National ID Card), Highest Certificate, NYSC (Discharge or Exclusion or Excemption) if any and with a passport photograph, she added.
