Biase Council Chairman Inaugurates LGA Appointees
Hon Ada Charles Inaugurates LG Appointees today 13/08/2020
The event which started at 1:30PM at BIASE Council Hall had in attendance councilors, Vice Chairman Hon Oyono, Hon Dr Onun Emil Inyang and Wife, Ogbor Ogbor, Prof Uti, former vice chairman Hon Ukam Obo, MrJames Amatey Deputy Registrar of Crutech, Hon Austine Aidam, Hon Uno Ilem, Leader of Council, Hon Charles Eko, Rt Hon Mary James Akpe, Barr Egwu Obin Protocol to the deputy Governor, ward Chairman, party Elders, women, youths, Students and a host of other party faithfuls to grace the auspicious event.
Highlight of the event was the swearing in proper conducted by the Digital Chairman of BIASE LGA. After a welcome Address by the Chairman Hon Ada Charles. In her speech she laid more emphasis on the protection of lives and properties, peace and Unity given that there’s no development in an environment of rancor and acrimony. In furtherance, she urged the newly sworn in appointees of the council to be diligent and selfless in service delivery to the people of BIASE.
Hence The oat of office was administered to the appointees by the Local Government Boss, Hon Ada Charles in line with the constitution provisions. The secretary of Council in person of Mr Daniel Enang on behalf of the appointees gave an acceptance speech. Mr Enang in his speech thanked the Leaders of BIASE, the good people of BIASE, and Chairman for the opportunity to serve the good people of BIASE in different capacity.
Also Dr Emil Inyang while Advising told the Chairman to be close to her people and her God for effective service Delivery. Also Dr Onun Emil advised the people of BIASE to reduce expectations and rather pray for the LGA exco to succeed. The BIASE PDP chapter Chairman in person of Hon Austine Aidam in his speech thanked the LGA Boss for carefully selecting the Appointees & involving women in her Government.. And proceeded by advising the appointees to be the Eye of the Chairman in the 122 Polling Units across the LGA.
Rt. Hon Mary James Akpe applauded Onun Emil Inyang for always Being there for the party and people of Biase. She said as an humble and meek servant, Emil Inyang has been instrumental to sustainability of the Party. She concluded by thanking the leadership of Biase for being gender sensitive in all ramifications.
