Easter celebration: Hon. Stella Odey felicitates with Christian faithfuls.
As Christians all over the world celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ the saviour and son of God, the Honourable Commissioner for Local Government Affairs, Hon Stella Oreme Odey-Ekpo has joined the rest of the world in celebrating this auspicious day.
Easter Sunday is one of the most festive events among Christians worldwide. It commemorates Jesus Christ’s resurrection from death, as written in the bible.
Hon. Stella, noting the importance of this day to Christian faithfuls especially her people, prays that Christians remain committed to the preaching and doctrine of Jesus Christ which revolves around LOVE.
According to her, Easter is the time to reevaluate our consciousness and journey with Christ. It is a day to celebrate but with deeper assessment and reassessment of our work with Christ.
Furthermore, she prays both Christians and Muslims puts the world in prayer as the fight to curb the deadly Coronavirus pandemic intensifies, advising the general public especially Cross Riverians to continue to adhere to the ‘no nose mask, no movement’ order by the Cross River State Government, as it’s one of the proponents to avoid being infected by Coronavirus.
Hon. Odey commended the efforts of the Cross River State Governor, Sen. Prof. Ben Ayade in his industrialization thrives and efforts put so far in making sure Cross River State remain Coronavirus free, even when neighboring states has recorded COVID-19 Case.
