Eba Congratulates Neighbor Usman Alkali Baba Over New Height
The Cross River State Director General of Due Process and price Intelligence Bureau and the People’s Democratic party Chieftain has congratulated Mr.Usman Akali Baba on his appointment as the Acting Inspector General of Police.
The Cross River State Director General of Due Process and price Intelligence Bureau, Alphonsus Ogar Eba Esq, said this in a statement circulated by his Special Assistant On Media and Publicity, Egbara Emmanuel on Tuesday in Abuja.
He described Akali as a man of impeccable character, saying that his appointment was well deserved.
“I believe that the appointment of my good neighbor is well deserved, considering the personal accomplishments of the man,”Eba said.
He expressed optimism that Akali would bring professionalism and true leadership to policing in the country.
“We can attest to his solid pedigree and rich experience. He is, arguably, the most qualified serving Police officer in this time to occupy the very sensitive office of the I-G.
“I wishe that the new top cop will harness his experiences from previous offices, at home and abroad, with dexterity to curb crime, ensure peace in the entire country and once again propound the policing principles that will lead Nigerians to believe that police, is their friend.”
He prays that IGP Alkali will bring his integrity, professionalism and humility to bear in moving the Nigerian Police Force to an enviable height in the fight against all forms of criminality and the maintenance of law and order in Nigeria.
