MKPANI-UGEP LINK ROAD: GOVERNOR AYADE’S AIDE COMMENDS SPEAKER, CRSHA
The Special Assistant to Cross River State Governor, Sen. Prof. Ben Ayade on Security, Mr. Cyril Omini have applauded the Speaker of Cross River State House of Assembly (CRSHA), Rt. Hon. Eteng Jones Williams for facilitating the construction of Mkpani-Ugep link road where grading is ongoing.
Mr. Omini in his statement said: “The ongoing grading of Mkpani-Ugep link road facilitated by a man I described as “Talk and Do” and a “Promise keeper”, whose passionate about the development of Yakur Nation and Cross River State at large, is laudable.
“Permit me to also thank the Federal Government for granting approval and funding for the 2KM rural grading road in Mkpani now extended to another 4.2KM by the Speaker, CRSHA to link Mkpani to Ugep, to commence.
“This intervention by Rt. Hon. Eteng Williams was timely as this will improve the standard of living of our people as well as the socio-economic status of the communities and commuters.
Omini who also, in his statement, expressed optimism that the contractors will speedily and diligently complete this phase of work, calls on key government officials and elites of Yakurr extraction to shun all acts that are inimical to the development of Yakurr Nation and emulate the impactful steps of Mr. Speaker, hence contributing their quota in the development our locality/constituency.
