RT. HON. LEGOR IDAGBO IS CHANGING THE FORTUNES OF A GENERATION OF YOUNG PEOPLE THROUGH TRAINING OF 1000 YOUTHS IN GSM PHONE REPAIRS, HARDWARE, SOFTWARE AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT
Recently, the Member Representing Bekwarra/Obudu/Obanliku Federal Constituency of Cross River State in the House of Representatives Rt. Hon. Legor Idagbo facilitated the training of 1000 youths in GSM Phone Repairs, Hardware, Software and Entrepreneurship Development across the entire Cross River State.
All trainings having been completed successfully and post training and mentorship done, organisers working closely with Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board NCDMB have approved graduation events to take place in the Month of August with presentation of toolkits and stipends to all participants.
Organisers have also said that allocation of shops for participants will be done thereafter as facilitating teams will work closely with participants to ensure they start and grow their businesses.
The training as can be seen is not an end in itself but also intends to help all participants to maximise the opportunity it presents to better their lives through starting and growing businesses in GSM Phone Repairs and related areas and contribute effectively to the economic growth of the state and nation.
It is lucid that Rt. Hon. Legor Idagbo through the training is changing the fortunes of a generation of young people in Cross River State by empowering them with not just skills but also tools, shops and the mentorship require to become the next generation of entrepreneurs in an area that is relevant for the future; GSM Phone Repairs.
It cam be argued that not all the youths who pass through the training will make the best out of it but as many as are committed to personal development and maximise the opportunity that the training presents will make a difference.
Rt. Hon. Legor Idagbo in his speech on the closing day of one of the centers of the training had promised that for as many who are willing to work hard, stay focused and grow their businesses, Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board NCDMB was willing to hold their hands and walk with them through the journey to success.
Nothing can be more impactful than this considering that our state and nation with teeming population of youths is in dire need of not just human capital development but also economic growth. We urge all participants in the training to stay focused and become agents of positive change in our society.
